Our natural skin- parchment foil restoration hide parchment can be used as specifically produced collagen filament from bovine hides in foodstuff quality for parchment substitution in archival restoration on cultural heritage (such as historical manuscripts written on brittle natural skin parchment, brittle parchment bindings etc.) and for pharmaceutical or food purposes as well.

The skin- parchment foil uptake water based ink or metal- complex dyestuffs on natural skin parchment repair or printings easily.

 
This clear parchment film can be used as an enzyme hydrolysing protein in its natural, or native conditions to moderately degraded products, peptones and peptides in chemical testing.

 
Franz Hoffmann clear parchment- film (intestine) fulfills the requirements of the following European legislation regarding to collagen and food contact materials: regulation (EC) No. 853/2004 of the European Parliament and the Council as amended.

 
Parchment film sheets can be offered as 500x380mm/piece or 1000x380mm/piece.

 
Storage:

In a dry place, between 5 – 23°C, away from natural light, oxygen and heat sources.

Recommended period of use in two (2) years from delivery date.

 
Processing:

Franz Hoffmann clear parchment (collagen)- intestine can be used directly without any preconditioning.
